the hotel was really nice. the rooms are like woahhhh.
the view was duper nice.
and we visited the presidential suite, where only VIPs get to stay there.
VIPs as in like, presidents from other countries.
Lee Kuan Yew stayed there before. its 8000yuan per night, which is around SGD1600.
quite reasonable for the size of the room actually.
there is one big living room, two bedrooms, one study room, 3 toilets, one pantry area.
big like anything.
But, its only available to Very Important People, normal people like us cannot get to stay there even if we have the money.
the hotel is located beside the 外白渡桥 - the famous bridge in Shanghai.
this bridge had just "came back" from repair or rather, maintenance on the 8 April'09
and it is open to tourist or even locals to visit on the 9th and 10th of April.
visit as in walking from one end of the bridge to the other end.
after 10th of April, the bridge will only allow cars to drive pass.
people are not allowed to walk across the bridge.
the next time people are allowed to do so is 100years later.
sooo, we are lucky enough to have walk across the bridge in our lives. lucky lucky! :)
