AMELIA ;DDDD: PARROT COMPETITION!

Serangoon early in the morning tday.
reached there arnd 9 and breakfast-ed first before going to the cc to watch the parrot competition.
the judges arrived arnd 12. -.-
there were 3 judges, senior assistant from the Jurong Birdpark, a Doctor frm dk wad vet and the mediacorp artiste, "Hui Ge"
there were competition for tricks and talking and also competition for lovebirds, small birds etc.
small birds will be judged on their appearance, colour, whether they are proportionate etc.
wth lor, if i know got this category, i cfm will bring xiao ai there lor.
xiaoai got chance to win you know.
cos she's a mixed breed, colour v special.
but for he proportionate part, haha! xiaoai cfm cannot pass.
cos too fat. Haha!
but regretted not bringing xiaoai there lor.

there were many many birds, so cool la!
Macaws, Amazon, Sun conure, budgie, lovebirds, African Grey, Cockatiel, cockatoos etc!
saw Daniel, the farmart guy, and his Sunshine! Sunshine's a Sun Conure.
Sunshine's super smart.
First was the puzzle and colouring competition by kids, next was Best trick and lastly, the open category.
super excite lor! my first time going to such competitions lor! :D
but some birds were unable to perform at their usual form as they are not used to the new environment.
but Sunshine performed as his usual form.
did tricks like flying thru hoops and back to daniel, throwing rubbish into the recycle bins, playing BASKETBALL! coolios! thumbs up for him! ultra clever.
And Sunshine won the best trick performance award and was reported in the news. Lol!
They plan to convert Serangoon into a Pets hub for pets lovers.

Left, headed to Big Splash for the car boot sale.
the moment we got there, it poured quite heavily. -.-
waited for the rain to stop alil and went to walk arnd.
saw this fisheye 'accessory' to take piccas wf effects.
its sort of a hp keychain, where you can stick & remove the lens when you wna take piccas wf effects. i bought one!
there's 4 types, 4 different effects.
left arnd 4? and went to bedok to walk walk.
bought a screen protector for my beloved phone
and back to jurong.

took a short nap and saw the news abt this afternoon's event.

i forgot that i have to go to sch to help out in the Men's 4jiao game tday.
so showered, dad sent me to sch.
end up, reached sch, game cancelled cos there's no lights. -.-
so went for dinner wf laoheng & mates near Rox's house.
