Pulau Dayang 16 - 18 May'08

Back from dayang! LOL!
The trip was fun man.
Exp for the waiting part and the long long ferry ride.


Day 1
Assembled in sch at 9.30pm.
Briefing and stuff before we set off from sch.
Cleared the sin’s ansd malaysia’s custom
And den 2 hrs of bus ride.
Stopped at petrol kiosk for toilet break and cup noodles! Haha!

Reached mersing jetty arnd 3am?
It was arnd 4am before we left the jetty for dayang.
The boat ride was friggin’ cold lah! F man.
‘’lao kok kok’’ de boat air-con still so powerful. Lol.
slept on the boat but dint sleep well. T.T
not comfy at all, just seats.
reached dayang at 7.30 am.
it was like day 2 liao lah..



DAY 2
assigned rooms for us.
me, del and veron were assigned to a room.
aft that, had breakfast at the island opp ours. pathetic.
we have to cross over to that island for every meal. lol.

aft lunch was dive#1.
im in detail 1.
did 4 basic drills in the water.
- Remove regulator and put it back into my mouth
- Retrieve the second stage (sliding method)
- Retrieve the second stage (reaching method
- Mask clearing

waited for detail 2 & 3 to complete their first dive before going for our 2nd dive.
like so long lah.
dive#2 was arnd 2pm?
For dive#2, err.. hahax i cant really rmb what we did. lol. dinnered aft that.

Bathed.
And theory test! Hahax.
Damn shagged at that point of time alr.
Dint even bother to recap the text. LOL!
But i passed the test! HAHAHAHAHA!
43/50. Heng man.
41 was the passing mark. *phew
Slept right aft the test. SLEEPY!



DAY 3
Woke up at 6am to prepare for dive#3.
We went deeper for dive#3. Abt 15m?
Tried to achieve neutral buoyancy and did emergency air sharing.
And i kept equalizing my ears as i descend.
Im afraid that my ear drums would burst. LOL!
Im surprised that my ears could take it. Not much of a problem. (;

Dive#4 was sort a leisure type.
The dive master who brought us down was KKK.
Hahaha! I think he’s good lah! ;)
He showed us some stuff in the water.
Like the montreal eel, cushioned starfish? Sea cucumber and many others.
The montreal eel looks fierce lah.
He took a grp photo for us too! Damn cool!
Wf kang’s cam? That underwater casing cost him abt 300bucks i think.
I want that too! T.T

And and, i feel that i’m so much stronger now! Hahax.
Initially, for dive#1 and 2, i feel like a ‘’fei ren’’
I needed help to gear up and have difficulty walking when i carried the tank.
But for dive#3 and 4, i could actually walk wf the tank on my back. But its still kinda heavy.
LOLOLOL!

Lunched.
And headed back to our room to pack our stuff.
Left dayang arnd 3pm.
Journey back to sin was damn long.
Stopped by a seafood restaurant for dinner.
& bought cuttle fish too!
Btw, i finished one whole packet by myself alr.
Shhhh. Cannot let my mom know or else nag. LOL.
Reached sin arnd 12am.
Me and del alighted at taman jurong.
And my dad came to pick us.
Sent del home. And HOMED! (:
I miss my comfy bed!

And baked wf my mom and sis. LOL!
Just a simple sponge cake lah. Haha!

My mom prepared weird stuff for us ytd.
Like steaming pears to make soup and she made pizza.
WEIRD. But her pizza’s real nice. Yumyum!
